Lewis was born on July 26, 1935 and passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018.

Lewis was a resident of Maud, Texas at the time of passing.

He was retired from Day and Zimmerman, Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant as a Production Planner and owner of White Trucking Company, and a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife Ollie Beasley White of Maud, Texas, one son and daughter in law Darron and Cindy White of Maud, Texas, two daughters and one son in law, DeAnna White and Dawn and Scott Conway all of Maud, Texas, one sister Frances Townsend of Texarkana, Texas, eleven grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Center Ridge Cemetery, Maud, Texas with Rev. Joe Littleton officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
