Mary Ellen Gribble, 79, of Ashdown, Arkansas passed away September 1, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at Millwood Baptist Church in Ashdown, Arkansas on September 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Travis Young of Millwood Baptist Church officiating. Madden Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Private burial services will take place in Garden City, Kansas on a later date.
Mary was born on June 21, 1938 a daughter of the late Ray and Ella Maupin. She married the late David Gribble in December 1964 and was passionate about her husband, her family and the Kansas Jayhawks. Mary was a kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart; was very giving to others and had an infectious laugh that we will always remember.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, David Gribble and her sibling, Steve Maupin.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; loving siblings Jo Ann Billings of Canadia, Texas and Gary Maupin of Shamrock, Texas; her children Alan (Nenita) Morgan from Ola, Arkansas; Donna (Ron) Weaver from Loveland, Colorado; Randy (Becky) Morgan from Ashdown, Arkansas; Liz (Brian) Murphy from Clearwater, Florida; Shelley (Dennis) Sharp from Ashdown, Arkansas; Cynthia (John) Branham from Princeton, West Virginia; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
