Sarah was born on September 15, 1934 and passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019.

Sarah was a resident of Texarkana, Texas at the time of passing.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Debra Arvin of Texarkana, Arkansas and Nancy and Dave Kenny of Tucson, Arizona; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Joyce Avery of Austin, Texas and Austin and Mary Avery of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Austin Whiteside and Jimmy Whiteside both of Texarkana; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, John Daniel and Candace Nielsen of Fort Hood, Texas, William Nielsen of Texarkana, Texas, Matthew Avery of Austin, Texas, Michael Avery of San Marcos, Texas, James Avery of Commerce, Texas, Jennifer and Jonathan Miller of Wake Village, Texas, Joshua and Catherine Avery of Lake Dallas, Texas, Jordan and Haley Avery of Palestine, Texas, Amanda and David Inderstrodt of Richmond, Indiana, Christopher Kenny of Tuscon, Arizona and Sarah and Jason Otto of Kyle, Texas; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Friday, January 11, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Dr. John Webb officiating. Burial will follow.
